Evolution 1.11 · release build · needs a retail Steam copy of STORM 4
Naruto Storm Evolution Guide

Stages added by the mod

Quick answer

1.07 ported the Storm Connections stage set, 1.10 added multiple stages with their own sound effects and reworked the stage select UI, and 1.11 added a Custom Kara stage on page two of the select. Connections stages require the Next Generations DLC.

Stage additions cluster in the bigger releases. Here is what each one brought.

1.07 — the Connections set

Listed in the release notes as "added stages from Storm Connections", with the same footnote as the characters: these require the Next Generations DLC. The same build brought the Connections effect files and shaders across, so those stages look the way they do in Connections rather than being rebuilt by hand.

1.10 — multiple stages, plus a select rework

  • Added multiple stages, each with its own sound effects.
  • Reworked the Stage Select UI and gave instant pick when you randomise, matching how character select behaves.
  • Adjusted Kurama's model in the Nine Tails stage and added Lightning to the Revolution awakening stage.

If your stage select looks unfamiliar after a long break, the UI itself changed — that is the 1.10 rework, not a different build.

1.11 — Custom Kara stage

  • Added a Custom Kara stage on page two of the stage select.
  • Adjusted Lightning Desert's ground collision.
  • Fixed cinematic placement on Final Battlefield (After the Disaster).
  • Fixed team ultimate positioning on Dream Field.

The 1.11 stage work is mostly precision fixes around a single new arena, which is typical of the maintenance releases between the big content drops.

Reading the stage select

Because the select was reworked and stages have been added across three builds, the page count per screen is part of the design now: the 1.07 cycle also added a page and reordered the character screen. If you cannot find something, page two is not a hidden setting — it is where the newer additions live.

Missing stages

Two causes, in order:

  1. The Next Generations DLC for the Connections arenas.
  2. An incomplete build for anything else — update through the launcher and press Validate.
