Items and support changes
Evolution documents a three-item loadout and a support type for each character iteration, with TS meaning the older time-skip versions and PTS the pre-time-skip ones. Guard Break Pills are excluded from those lists by design, and Storm 1 variants of characters carry item sets closer to their original Storm 1 sets.

Items are a quiet part of the mod's design: every time a character iteration is reworked, the team also decides what three items it carries.
How the reference is organised
The mod's own item page opens with its notation:
- TS = time skip, the older or modern versions of a character.
- PTS = pre time skip, the Part One versions.
- Guard Break Pills are excluded from the lists — the page says so explicitly, so do not read their absence as an oversight.
Each entry then pairs a character with a support type and three items. A few examples from the published reference:
| Character | Support type | Item loadout |
|---|---|---|
| Six Paths Naruto | (listed with three items) | Chakra Seal Tag, Food Pills, Small Chakra Renewal Band |
| Kurama Link Mode Naruto | Charge Assist | Burst Kunai, Sleep Tag, Power Mochi |
| Sage Mode Naruto | Combo Support | Paper Bomb, Small Chakra Renewal Band, Chakra Elixir |
| Tailed Beast Bomb Naruto | Charge Guard | Defense Breaking Tag, Bomb Ball, Food Pills |
| DMS Kakashi | Combo Support | Focus Tag, Lightning Kunai, Small Chakra Renewal Band |
| Time-skip Kakashi | Charge Guard | Substitution Log, Paper Bomb, Defense Breaking Tag |
The support type is the headline
What you carry matters, but what your partner does when called matters more. The mod reassigns support types far more often than it swaps items, and the 1.10 release moved a long list of them — Temari across three variants, the whole Part One set, and defaults for characters such as Asuma and Nagato.
Storm 1 item sets
One rule is easy to miss: characters' Storm 1 variants have item sets similar to their original Storm 1 sets. If you pick an older form and the items look unfamiliar, that is the intent rather than a bug.
Using the reference
- Check your build's changelog first — assignments moved in 1.10 and again in 1.11, when the base roster's Dash Cut changes were reverted.
- Read the loadout for the specific iteration you are playing, not the character family. A PTS Naruto and a Six Paths Naruto carry different tools.
- Treat the list as a starting point for team building, not a tier list. The mod has never published rankings, and this site does not invent them.
