Trailers and media

Video is how most people meet this mod, and the team leans on it: every sizeable release gets a trailer or a showcase, and the community channels run long breakdowns.
Official channels
- The mod's own site posts trailers and update banners alongside each release, and links out to the team's social accounts.
- X is where the team posts big changes and event announcements between releases.
- The Ultimate Ninja Discord is the community hub: announcements, support and the place reports get read.
Community coverage worth having
| Channel type | What they do |
|---|---|
| Release showcases | Long videos walking a new build's stages, costumes and mechanics, chapter by chapter |
| Install guides | Short videos showing the launcher download and the validate step end to end |
| Competitive play | Match footage on the current build, useful for seeing how supports and gauges behave |
| Trailer reactions and breakdowns | Coverage of the team's own trailers, including frame-by-frame looks at new characters |
Several of the team's credited contributors are community channels themselves, which is why the roster of creators appears on the mod's own about page.
What video is good for — and what it is not
Use footage to see content: a new character's moveset, a stage, how the UI changed. Do not use a six-month-old video to decide whether a costume or a mechanic exists — builds move, and items have been removed and re-added between releases. The version pages are the source of record for that.
Official trailers for the base game
The retail game's own trailers remain the best reference for the vanilla experience Evolution is built on. If you have not played STORM 4 in years, watching one is a fast reminder of what the mod changed — then read mechanic changes for the differences.
